DFxDesign For Fabrication
- Hitachi utilizes RSI CAD CAM and Valor Trilogy software to import customers E-CAD data
- Perform analysis using standard IPC guidelines and fabrication rules and the limits of the technology provided by fabrication partners
- With customer approval, select qualified suppliers for the customer design to provide the lowest total cost
Design For Assembly
- Utilize customer E-CAD, IPC and Hitachi OMD guidelines and Valor Trilogy software for PCBA and 3D modeling if files are provided
- Perform analysis on >100 possible design violations to insure effective and efficient assembly with quality results including:
- Component-to-component spacing
- Pin-to-pad analysis
- Line-to-line and line-to-pad spacing, etc.
Design For Test
- Utilize customer’s E-CAD data, IPC & Hitachi OMD design guidelines and RSI CAD CAM & Valor Trilogy software
- Test nodes/nets are identified & board locations are selected for flying probe and or bed-of-nails testing
- Based upon board design, JTAG & Boundary Scan tests as well as fixtured functional testing may be recommended
- Experienced Test Engineers & Technicians design and develop test fixtures and processes utilizing the HP3070 for in-circuit testing
